Personal Information We Collect Indirectly
Automatically-Collected Information
If you are visiting the Site, we automatically collect information about the computer or devices (including mobile devices) you use to access the Site, and your interactions with the Site, such as through cookies and other automated technologies, as explained in our Cookie Notice. For example, we may collect and store information such as your IP address, device type, unique device identification number, browser-type, broad geographic location (e.g., country or city-level location) and other technical information. We may also collect information about how your device has interacted with our Site, including the pages accessed and links clicked.
Collecting this information enables us the Site to work. It also enables us to better understand the visitors who come to the Site and what content on our Site may be of interest to them. Third Parties
We may collect personal information from third parties, such as when you register for one of our events using a third-party event registration platform, use a web-conferencing service for video conferences or from LinkedIn. In connection with providing our Services, we may also collect and use information with respect to potential buyers from social media or CRM platforms, which may include the contact information.
Personal Information Collected to Fulfill our Services to Clients
When you engage Stellar to provide the Services, we collect and use information that is necessary for the performance of those Services. Stellar provides advice to businesses to help them grow through to a sale transaction. As such, much of the information needed to provide the Services relates to the company or organization – our “Client” – for which the Services are to be provided and is not personal information. This includes Client financials, contracts and other typical due diligence materials.
However, some of the information that is provided by Clients’ representatives (or in some instances collected from third parties at the request of our Clients) in order for us to fulfill the Services constitutes personal information.. This information may include:
Basic information such as Client representatives’ names, positions and contact information
Employee and payroll information
Other personal information that may be needed to provide the Services to the Client.
If you provide us with the personal information of other individuals, including your organization’s employees, for purposes of the Services, please ensure that you have the authority to do so.
We only use this information to provide our Services. The information that our Clients provide may be disclosed to third parties to the extent that is reasonably necessary in connection with the performance of our Services – such as when we contact potential buyers for your company or organization.
Legal Bases for Processing Personal Information
The legal basis upon which we rely to collect and use the personal information described above will depend on the type of information we collect and the purpose for which we collect it.
We will normally collect personal information from you only where we need the personal information to perform a contract with you (for instance, when providing our Services), where we have your consent to do so, or where the processing is in our legitimate interests and not overridden by your data protection interests or fundamental rights and freedoms. Google Analytics

Videos
Our Site may contain videos or links to videos relating to the Services. If you click on a link or view a video, we do not collect any information, however the third-party video platforms, such as YouTube or Vimeo, may collect some personal information as set forth in their privacy notices.

As we continue to grow, we may purchase websites, applications, subsidiaries, other businesses or business units. Alternatively, we may sell businesses or business units, merge with other entities and/or sell assets or stock, in some cases as part of a reorganization or liquidation in bankruptcy, as well as raise capital through financings. In connection with or as part of these transactions, we may transfer your personal information to another entity upon a merger, consolidation, financing or other corporate reorganization in which Stellar participates, or to a purchaser or acquirer of all or a portion of Stellar’s assets, bankruptcy sale included.

We may use and share non-personal information about you or your use of the Site and Services, including any de-identified and aggregated data with third parties without limitation.
Opting-Out of Marketing Communications from Us
You may opt-out at any time of receiving direct marketing emails and other promotional email communications. You may opt-out by choosing the “Unsubscribe” option available as a link in every promotional email. You may also do so by contacting us at contact@consultstellar.com.
We will gladly comply with all requests to opt-out of or unsubscribe from promotional communications, but reserve the maximum amount of time allowed by law to process such requests. You cannot opt-out of certain transactional emails or communications, which are necessary to conclude a transaction or provide the Services.
Children’s Information
The Site and Services are not directed toward persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly market to or collect any personal information from children under the age of 18. If you are under 18, you are not permitted to submit any personal information to us or on the Site.
If you are a parent or guardian, and believe that we have the personal information of your minor child in our database, please contact us immediately at contact@consultstellar.com to request that we remove such information from our records.

Despite our efforts, however, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. Data Retention
We will retain the personal information that we collect where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so, including to provide you with our Services or to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it. If this is not immediately possible because your personal information has been stored in backup archives, we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

We are located in the United States, and the personal information that we collect is stored on servers located in the United States.
